#5: Jordan Spieth (2 wins, $4,585,282)

The reigning POY, Spieth has to feel a bit disappointed about how his year has gone so far. His meltdown on the 12th hole at Augusta National will stand as one of the most notorious stories in Masters annals, and the resultant tie for second place didn’t do much to compensate for what would have been a third major title.

Still, Spieth has had a nice season to this point. He’s picked up a pair of wins since the calendar turned, adding the Hyundai Tournament of Champions and the Dean & DeLuca Invitational to his growing list. Those weren’t the most competitive events of the season — the former featured just 32 players — but Spieth is nevertheless one of just four players with multiple wins this year, an important feather in his cap.

With two wins, six top 10s and 12 weeks spent at No. 1 in the world, Spieth is already working on a strong campaign. A major victory could put him over the top.
