OWGR: Ranking Every World No. 1 in History
15. Adam Scott
Time at the top: 11 weeks
The Aussie still has a chance to make it back to the top, but Scott would still have a pretty solid résumé if his career were to conclude today.
Scott held the top spot for 11 weeks in 2014, thanks in part to his major breakthrough at the 2013 Masters. His back-to-back wins early in 2016 led many to believe he still has the chops to climb back into the conversation for world No. 1. This places him higher on the list than some other players who perhaps have had more well-rounded careers.
Scott owns 13 PGA Tour and 10 European Tour victories, as well as one of the most gorgeous swings in the world.
At 35, Scott is beginning to reach the twilight of his prime, but another major or two could jet him right back up to the top of the OWGR.
