The RBC Canadian Open is drawing a strong field for this week’s event.

It’s that time of year again: the RBC Canadian Open, to be played at the beautiful 7,273-yard Glen Abbey Golf Course in Oakville, Ontario, is here. The only PGA Tour event held in Canada is also one of the oldest on the schedule, surpassed in age by only the U.S. Open and The Open Championship. Names like Snead, Palmer and Trevino have all made their mark on this event. It’s time to start getting excited about this week. Here are five things you may not have known about the RBC Canadian Open.
