2. PGA Tour record: Mark Calcavecchia birdied nine straight holes in 2009.

During the second round of the 2009 RBC Canadian Open, Mark Calcavecchia was a birdie machine. The 49-year-old veteran birdied the 12th through 18th holes for a nine-hole score of seven-under-par 30, then birdied the first and second holes on the front nine. It ended at the par-4 third hole, when he drove into the left rough and missed the green with his approach, his first time missing the green in regulation in 20 holes. His chip settled five feet from the hole, and he made the putt for his par. Calcavecchia would bogey his final two holes of the day, coming in with a still spectacular round of 65.
