3. Did the”Greatest Shot” of Tiger Woods’ career come at the 2000 Canadian Open?

One of the best golfers of all time hit a truly magnificent shot at the 2000 RBC Canadian Open. It all came down to the 72nd hole, where Woods and competitor Grant Waite stood on the tee neck and neck. When Waite reached the green in regulation, the pressure was on Tiger, who’d hit an errant tee shot into a fairway bunker. What happened next is what many would consider to be one of the best shots of Tiger Woods’ career, a 6 iron that carried the water a little over 200 yards. Woods stuck the shot, which trickled to the fringe as he walked away for the victory and the elusive “Triple Crown.” Talk about clutch.
