The Donald Ross designed Scioto Country Club in Ohio is providing a tough test for the best Senior golfers in the world and heading into the weekend at the US Senior Open, the leaderboard seems set up for an exciting finish.

Revamped by Jack Nicklaus in 2008, who learned to play the game at this very course, renovations have been ongoing to get one of the game’s great old courses ready to test the game’s elite once again.

Thirty years on from hosting its last US Senior Open, the venue has proven difficult for the best players over the age of 50.

More from Champions tour

With the leaders underway on day three, who should you be watching closely over the next two rounds? Which member of the chasing pack is most likely to make a big move?

Let’s take a look at some of the chasing pack who certainly have what it takes.
