Simpson is yet another of the players in the field this week who picked up his first PGA Tour win at the Wyndham, back in 2011. Not only that, but Simpson hasn’t finished outside of the top-25 at Sedgefield since 2009.

Having made the cut in the last four events he’s played this season, including a 6th place finish at Quicken Loans National and a tie for 13th at the PGA Championship, Simpson is more confident than he has likely been for a while. A win will come sooner rather than later.
