Erik Compton

Erik Compton is a special sleeper pick this week after being DQ’d from last week’s John Deere Classic. The reason? Missing the Wednesday Pro-Am after two others dropped out.

When Compton found out he was hours away and couldn’t get there in time. If you thought the PGA Tour would go light on him, they didn’t, as he was slapped with a firm disqualification.

That is why Compton is out for revenge this week, not only to try to get a spot in the FedEx Playoffs but to also get back at the PGA, while perhaps winning a little money in the process too.
