This week, the top 100 in points will make their way to TPC Boston for the second leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs. With its signature Labor Day finish, the Deutsche Bank Championship is known for producing low scores and quality champions.
The FedEx Cup race has a new leader in Patrick Reed, but the recent winner of The Barclays shouldn’t get too comfortable at the top. The points standings are extremely volatile during the playoffs, and we could very well have a new frontrunner by the end of the Deutsche Bank Championship. Either way, the point totals will be reset in advance of the TOUR Championship, so everyone who survives to the final stage will have a shot at the $10 million bonus.
