7. THE PLAYERS Championship (Jason Day)

After tying the course record on Thursday, World No. 1 Jason Day went wire-to-wire to bring home his first PLAYERS Championship.

Typically, blowouts don’t equate to entertainment value, but in this case, Day’s performance on one of the biggest stages in golf was invigorating.

A swarm of competitors were doing their best to catch up, but even after a bogey scare at the par-five ninth hole, Day was composed enough to bring home the trophy. Truly a top notch performance from a top notch golfer.
