5. PGA Championship (Jimmy Walker)

The first major to make this list comes in at number five. Despite drama in the waning moments, Baltusrol offered more controversy than competition.

Jimmy Walker outlasted a rain soaked golf course by shooting no worse than a two-under 68 during the tournament. As the tension ramped up, he was also forced to outlast the charging Jason Day, but Walker managed to hang on impressively to claim his maiden major success.

Being a major tournament helps it rank higher on this list, but considering the competition that places ahead of it in this list, it’s hard to give it anything higher than fifth place.
