3. US Open (Dustin Johnson)

Well, this tournament is tricky to rank. For what it’s worth, it could also easily be put at the top of a biggest blunders ranking during the Tour season.

It started at the fifth hole, when Johnson’s ball moved on the putting green.  Johnson consulted with a rules official and was not penalized at the time. The USGA continued to review video of the incident, though, and he was told on the 12th tee that a stroke could be added to his score after the round.

In the end, the stroke was added, and thankfully Dustin Johnson was able to do enough on the back nine to avoid it being a decisive blow, and finally win his first major championship.
