Thomas Pieters — A

Record: 4-1-0

A 24-year-old Ryder Cup rookie and a captain’s pick, Pieters was the unexpected hero of Team Europe last week. After dropping his opening match on Friday morning, the Belgian teamed up with Rory McIlroy to win in each of the next three sessions. He also dismantled J.B. Holmes in singles play, becoming the only player on either side to win four matches at Hazeltine.
