Jon Rahm came off a career tournament last week at the Farmers Insurance Open, as he surged up the leaderboard on Sunday to post a 7-under round to hoist his first ever PGA Tour career win. The Sun Devil is set for a celebratory homecoming this week as Rahm played his college golf not to far down the road at Arizona State. An amateur at the time, Rahm finished T-5th in the 2015 Waste Management Phoenix Open, so Rahm knows what success feels like in Arizona. Could Jon Rahm continue his young success in his home state? If he keeps the train rolling, then yes.

Come the final round Rickie Fowler will be wearing his Sunday orange. Fowler is once a two-time runner up in the Grand Canyon state, finishing 2nd overall in both 2010 and 2015. Fowler has played in 2 events in 2017 picking up one top 10 finish. Unless something drastically goes wrong Fowler will be around for some weekend golf. Look for the 2015 Players champion to strike.

Jordan Spieth has finished third in both of his first two starts in 2017. Each finish came at the SBS Tournament of Champions and Sony Open in Hawaii. Since Justin Thomas has been catching all the attention, Spieth is hovering under the radar and very well might just make his move this week. With the bulk of the schedule about to hit, this is the week to get things going.
