The Englishman has picked up at least one worldwide win in each of the last seven years and has been a Ryder Cup stalwart, so he should draw a fair number of spectators at Pebble Beach, both friendly and hostile. Thanks to a variety of factors, it looks like it could be a great event for the 36 year old.

While a nagging back injury kept him sidelined for a few weeks toward the end of last season, Rose has wasted no time proving to fantasy managers that he can still be trusted in the new year. In two January starts, he posted a pair of top five finishes: a solo second at the Sony Open in Hawaii and a tie for fourth at the Farmers Insurance Open. To go along with that momentum, Rose will carry some experience into this week – he tied for sixth at last year’s AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, his tournament debut. Statistically, he’s been rising to the occasion across the board, so you can feel good about plugging him into your fantasy lineup.
