I might be underrating Henderson. She’s gotten herself warmed up with a T21 finish at the Tour’s season-opener, the Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic, and she finished inside the top 10 at the 2016 Women’s Australian Open.

Outplaying Lydia Ko, Stacy Lewis, and Ha Na Jang, Henderson has delivered some incredible golf with nerves of steel. She has a killer instinct that approaches Annika Sorenstam’s.  Yet I keep feeling that something is holding Henderson back. It may be her youth, but I sense that Henderson’s mental game is flawed, that her emotions can, at times, cloud her shot-making.

Still, look for Brooke Henderson to contend this week.
