Honda LPGA Thailand Top 10 Player Power Rankings

Can Lexi Thompson defend her Honda LPGA Thailand against a field that’s packed with talent?

The Honda LPGA Thailand always delivers a fine golf show. The Tour enjoys their week competing on the Siam Country Club Pattaya Old Course and Thailand welcomes to opportunity to showcase and support local golf talent.

Defending champion Lexi Thompson will face a strong field this week. Newly minted Pure Silk Bahamas champion Brittany Lincicome and Women’s Australian Open champion Ha Na Jang will be teeing it up, as will the Tour’s top rivals, Lydia Ko and Ariya Jutanugarn.

Stacy Lewis remains in the hunt and typically delivers a solid game at the Honda LPGA Thailand, as does China’s Shanshan Feng. Brooke Henderson is sure to be playing for the win.

There’s no shortage of top-ranked talent ready to challenge Thompson. Not all of them made it onto my top 10 list. There are also some players in the field who are a bit further down the rankings but who have the potential to challenge the top of the board. One of them could put together a winning game and take home some hardware this week.

It might be that point in the season where with the rust knocked off and a Rolex First Time Champion will emerge on Sunday.
