Thompson didn’t play the Women’s Australian Open so she’s coming to the tee this week rested and refreshed. That could give her a decided advantage over the other top seeds in the field. She’s also very familiar with the golf course and over the past 5 years she’s consistently finished inside the top 15. This is a golf course that suits Lexi Thompson’s game and she seems to have no trouble managing the often intense humidity that saps the energy of other Western players. I’m looking for a high finish, perhaps another win.
