Bill Haas — $9,200

It’s not every week that Haas, the world’s 44th-ranked player, projects to be a viable fantasy anchor, but strange things happen when we’re dealing with a field like this one. While he’s got an unfortunate history of being overshadowed by strong competition, he easily stands out as one of the most talented and experienced players at Innisbrook this week.

The 34-year-old has never hoisted a trophy in Florida, but he has compiled a nice little track record at the Copperhead Course, going four-for-seven with a trio of top 16 finishes over the years. That run includes a playoff loss to Charl Schwartzel at last year’s event, so Haas will be hungry to reach the next level this time around. Recently, he’s been a model of consistency, with eight consecutive top 35 finishes. While he didn’t turn in a great performance in Mexico last week, he was on a roll with six straight top 20s before that.

At $9,200 in DraftKings, Haas is significantly more expensive than usual, but he’s got so much working in his favor this week. He’d be a reasonable play no matter what, but given his recent productivity, you can rest easy with him as your lineup centerpiece.
