Graham DeLaet — $8,400

From a fantasy perspective, this Canadian hasn’t been of much value over the past couple of seasons, but things are looking up for DeLaet at Innisbrook this week. He passes the converging trends test with flying colors, making him one of the most intriguing options in the field at the Valspar Championship.

Though he’s struggled with consistency for a while now, DeLaet has put together a nice little run of strong results, reeling off three consecutive top 20 finishes. That stretch includes a solo 10th at the Honda Classic two weeks ago, where he ranked sixth in strokes gained: off-the-tee and tied for fifth in greens in regulation. What’s more, Innisbrook is one of DeLaet’s favorite stops on the PGA Tour — he’s found the top 20 in each of the last three editions, peaking with a tie for fifth in last year’s event. With that kind of track record on his side, he should be able to parlay his form into a quality performance.

At $8,400 in DraftKings, DeLaet’s salary is the highest it’s been in months, but as always, you get what you pay for. The 35-year-old checks all the boxes for projected success this week, so invest away.
