Rickie Fowler — 10th

Fowler has strung together three top 20 finishes in a row, his longest such streak since around this time last year. He’s also taken a statistical step forward — at PGA National, he ranked second in the field in strokes gained: putting and 10th in strokes gained: tee-to-green, the kind of figures that invariably lead to low scores. He also leads the PGA Tour in scoring average, so he’s been on his game for the entire season.

That kind of form should help make up for his uneven record at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, where he’s notched some solid finishes (including a tie for third in 2013) in addition to some middling ones.

Fortunately for his legion of fans, Fowler appears to be back to his old self, and the numbers back up his recent uptick. We’ve seen him go on some remarkable runs in the past, so there’s no reason to start doubting him now.
