Given her history at the Founders Cup and the turnaround in her mental game, Lewis looks good for a win this week.

With only Shanshan Feng missing from the top of the Rolex Rankings list, this group is packed with power and talent and is probably going to produce the 2017 Founders Cup champion.

In theory, you can’t go wrong. It doesn’t matter who you pick. But of course, it would be better for your fantasy team if you could pick the winner.

I don’t think Lydia Ko’s game is quite up to speed just yet so I’m going to sideline her again this week. Everybody else is trending in the right direction and with the exception of In Gee Chun, who’s making her Founders Cup debut, all have experience managing the Wildfire track.

It may come down to who’s the hungriest and who’s the luckiest. Stacy Lewis looks good to me. With a win (2013), 2 runner-ups and a top 10 finish in her last 4 Founders Cup starts, Lewis could probably play this one blindfolded. But it’s her attitude – her mental game – that’s drawing me to her this week.

My Pick: Stacy Lewis

Every aspect of her technical game is competitive and Lewis has finally stopped beating up on herself when she misses a shot. She looks like she’s started enjoying the game again, and that means she’s ready to play gently and confidently, and take advantage of the opportunities that come along.

Brooke Henderson, who likes to play in wide open spaces, could turn it loose and be a threat, and while I’d never discount Sei Young Kim’s potential, I think Stacy Lewis is poised to end her winless streak and the Founders Cup is the right place to do it.
