Angel Cabrera was once a dark horse winner at the Masters. Will we see another unexpected name take home the green jacket this year?

With April just around the corner, we’re less than a month out from the Masters, and for golf fans, that means nonstop chatter about major predictions. This time of year, it seems that everyone is touting a different superstar, from Dustin Johnson to Jordan Spieth to Rory McIlroy.

But elite players like those three won’t be the only ones in the field at Augusta National next month. With them, there will be numerous lesser-known players who, while less prominent, will attempt to leave their mark on the first major of the season.

While this event’s list of past champions features a bunch of big names, we’ve still had plenty of dark horse winners in recent years, including Charl Schwartzel, Angel Cabrera, Trevor Immelman and Zach Johnson. Will anyone be able to follow in their footsteps this year? With a green jacket and golf immortality on the line, it won’t be easy, but today’s PGA Tour is loaded with talent.

Without further ado, here are ten golfers with outside chances to win the Masters this year. Each player’s current spot in the Official World Golf Ranking is listed below his name, and all betting odds are courtesy of GolfOdds.com.
