Jon Rahm — 7th

With three top fives in his last four PGA Tour starts, including a victory at the Farmers Insurance Open and a tie for third at the WGC-Mexico Championship, Rahm has proven more than capable of maintaining a high level of play on different types of courses. That skill will come in handy at Austin Country Club, where he’s yet to make a professional start, this week. A member of winning Palmer Cup and Bonallack Trophy teams in past years, he’s tasted plenty of match play success in his career, so he should have no trouble adjusting to the format on the PGA Tour.

Rahm has made a major impact in less than a year as a professional, and there’s no telling how far he’ll be able to go from here. We’ve seen hot players roll through this event in the past, so look for him to continue his outstanding form this week.
