PGA Tour Power Rankings: WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play
By Sam Belden
Tyrrell Hatton — N/A
Despite his unfamiliarity with the PGA Tour, Hatton has managed to reel off three top 10s in a row, including a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Honda Classic and Arnold Palmer Invitational. He also notched a solo 10th at the WGC-Mexico Championship three weeks ago, so we know he can hang in there with the game’s top dogs. While this week will mark the 25-year-old’s first career start at the WGC-Match Play, he’s got what it takes to succeed in the format — his tie for fifth at the 2015 Paul Lawrie Match Play is proof of that.
While this week will mark Hatton’s first professional start in the Lone Star State, he’s been thriving his way through unknown territory for more than a month now. Look for him to keep it going this week.
