Louis Oosthuizen — 61st

Oosthuizen had a week to remember at last year’s event, dispatching a number of talented players, including Jordan Spieth and Dustin Johnson, before eventually falling to world No. 1 Jason Day in the final match of the week. While he won’t exactly surge into this week, he has found the top 30 in four of his six starts in 2017, picking up a pair of top five finishes along the way. While his ball striking skills deserted him at the Arnold Palmer Invitational last week, look for him to be rejuvenated by a return to friendlier grounds.

Oosthuizen has always had a knack for contending at the biggest events, and after one go-round at Austin Country Club, it looks like he has what it takes to give an encore performance at the WGC-Match Play. With a little luck, he could end up in the winner’s circle this week.
