PGA Tour Power Rankings: WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play
By Sam Belden
Kevin Kisner — 16th
Kisner has found the top 25 in five of six starts since the calendar turned to 2017, including a solo 11th at the WGC-Mexico Championship and the tie for second at Bay Hill last week. At 16th in FedEx Cup points, he’s been one of the most consistent players on the circuit, and his scoring average of 70.326 ranks 33rd on the 2017 season. While he failed to advance out of the first stage at last year’s WGC-Match Play, his group featured Hideki Matsuyama and Rafa Cabrera-Bello. Chances are, he’ll have an easier path to the knockout rounds this time.
Kisner may not be a household name yet, but his outsized game makes him more than capable of going toe-to-toe with the biggest stars in golf. Look for him to give a nice performance in Texas this week.
