No. 9 Si Woo Kim

Among the Jon Rahms, Thomas Pieters’ and other young guns charging into the golf world, it’s easy for a solid player like Si Woo Kim to get lost in the shuffle. The South Korean native is an old 21 years of age in golf, seeing as he was the youngest to earn a PGA Tour Card back in 2012 at age 17. Rules prevented him from joining the Tour until his 18th birthday in 2013. The can’t-miss kid temporarily disappeared from the spotlight as he cut his teeth between the Web.com Tour and PGA Tour for a few seasons. He fully re-emerged in 2016 with two top-10s to begin his year and a win at the Wyndham Championship in August that qualified him for the 2017 Masters.

Kim was ninth in strokes gained around the green in 2016 and 20th in scrambling. If his short game can hold up to the Augusta challenge, he could become the first Korean Masters winner.
