Jordan Spieth — 7th

Memories of his 2016 Masters meltdown will still loom large, but the truth is that Spieth has logged a top two finish in every one of his career starts at Augusta, a streak that dates back to 2014. He’s only got one win to show for it, but no one in this week’s field has a comparable track record, at least in recent years. The Texan has also been demonstrating consistent form for most of the year — he’s found the top 25 in all but one of his stroke play starts and has totaled three top 10s, including a win at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. While he’s regressed a bit with the flatstick, his improved ball striking skills can compensate for that.

He might not be playing his best at the moment, but Spieth’s enviable consistency at Augusta makes him one of the clear frontrunners this week. Let’s just hope he can keep it together on the 12th hole this time.
