Jon Rahm — 4th

Rahm has reeled off six consecutive top 20 finishes, a run that started with his thrilling win at the Farmers Insurance Open in January. At last week’s Shell Houston Open, he closed with an impressive 67 to rocket into 10th place, extending his streak. A statistically strong player, Rahm ranks second on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: tee-to-green and 22nd in greens in regulation, a seemingly ideal skill set for a second shot course like Augusta National. The X-factor will be his performance on the greens, and while putting has never been the strongest part of his game, he’s shown an ability to roll in some lengthy ones once he gets going.

It’s been nearly 40 years since Fuzzy Zoeller became the last Masters first-timer to win a green jacket, but if anyone can bring an end to that drought, it’s Rahm. The 22-year-old has the kind of special talent that can lead to a heap of major titles at a young age.
