Justin Rose — 16th

With five top 15 finishes in seven starts, Rose has gotten solid results this year, including an impressive solo second at the Sony Open in Hawaii back in January. Most recently, he tied for 15th at the Shell Houston Open, where he demonstrated his ability to make birdies but struggled with avoiding the big numbers. He’ll need to get that under control if he wants to contend at the Masters, but with six consecutive top 25s at the event, including a tie for second in 2015 and a tie for 10th last year, history is definitely on his side. And let’s not forget about Rose’s all-around game — he ranks 11th on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: tee-to-green.

Compared to some of the game’s other elite players, Rose hasn’t had an especially flashy year, but he’s played solid golf in nearly every event he’s entered. Expect him to continue that trend at the Masters this week.
