Despite her so-so play to this point in the season, Katie Burnett has established a promising record on the Ko Olina track. She’s played the LOTTE Championship 3 times, finished inside the top 10 twice, and between those two high finishes she missed the cut.

In addition to being comfortable on the golf course, Burnett plays one of those middle-of-the-road games that tends to keep her in the short grass and out of trouble. She has a competent long game and sharpens up around the greens. On the putting surface she’s very competitive. So despite her not-so-promising set of early season finishes, I’m looking for her contend this week, even though dancing the hula is a bit of a long shot.
