Moriya’s playing stats reveal exactly the kind of game she needs to record a high finish this week. Like Ariya, she’s long off the tee (although not as long as Ariya), she’s better than most in her play around the greens, and with 28.5 putts per round she ranks 10th on the Tour in putting average.

Moriya finished solo 4th last year at the LOTTE Championship, so even with a couple of missed cuts and a lot finish in her previous Ko Olina starts, she has the golf course figured out. I’m looking for Moriya to contend this week.
