Pat Perez — 7th

With three top five finishes between November and January, Perez began the current campaign on a breakneck pace, and while he’s slowed down a bit since, the low scores have continued to come with regularity. Most recently, he reeled off back-to-back ties for 17th at Bay Hill and Austin Country Club before tying for 18th at the Masters. While he didn’t get a real taste of contention in any of those events, the consistency he’s shown is nevertheless encouraging. What’s more, he’s made the cut in each of his last four trips to the RBC Heritage, peaking with a tie for sixth in 2011.

In addition to his course history and form, Perez has demonstrated a strong short game this season, ranking inside the top 40 in both strokes gained: around-the-green and strokes gained: putting. He has everything he needs to make a run in the Palmetto State.
