Jason Dufner — 63rd
Dufner has found the top 25 in five of his last seven starts — the only events that yielded nothing were the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play and the Masters. He’s been rock-solid in the regular PGA Tour stops, a good sign as the PGA Tour makes its way up to Hilton Head. In terms of course history, Dufner has gone seven-for-eight with a pair of top 25s at Harbour Town. It shouldn’t be too difficult for him to improve that record this week — not when he ranks among the most experienced players in the field. You don’t need to be long off the tee to win at the RBC Heritage, a nice change of pace for veterans like him.
Dufner may be a few years removed from his prime, but don’t expect him to go away anytime soon. He’ll still have his opportunities to win, and with a few lucky bounces, the RBC Heritage could be one of them.
