RBC Heritage: Top 10 Power Rankings for Harbour Town
By Sam Belden
Luke Donald — 136th
Since breaking onto the PGA Tour in 2002, Donald has compiled a nine-for-ten track record at the RBC Heritage, featuring a whopping six top five finishes in the past eight years alone. Incredibly, he’s never won, but with four career runner-up finishes, you have to think that all those knocks at the door will be answered sooner or later. Even if he’s lost some of his old firepower, the course’s classic layout will give him a great chance — the 39-year-old ranks 29th on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: around-the-green as well as eighth in strokes gained: putting, so the requisite skill set is still there.
Even with his diminished form, it would be unwise for golf fans to ignore Donald this week. He’s contended at this event without his A-game in the past, and he can do it again.
