Bill Haas — 18th

Haas hasn’t missed a cut anywhere since September, a testament to his steadiness over the past few months. Over that stretch, he’s picked up his share of strong finishes, including a third-place showing at last month’s WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, where he defeated several quality opponents to reach the semifinals. His track record at the RBC Heritage looks a bit spotty, especially in the early part of his career, but he’s at least picked up a few top 25s over the years, including a tie for 14th in last year’s edition. At fourth on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: around-the-green, he has what it takes to navigate even the trickiest parts of Harbour Town.

More often than not, Haas does his best work in events that don’t necessarily feature the top players in the world. With many elite names resting after a whirlwind Masters week, it could be this 34-year-old’s time to make a return to the winner’s circle.
