RBC Heritage: Top 10 Power Rankings for Harbour Town
By Sam Belden
Marc Leishman — 13th
Leishman wasn’t able to get much of anything going at Augusta, but with his only sub-par round of the week coming on Sunday, his confidence might be a bit higher now than it would be otherwise. Plus, we can’t forget the fact that he notched back-to-back top 10 finishes leading up to the Masters: after winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational, he survived to the knockout stage of the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, making for an impressive run of form. At Harbour Town, he’s gone four-for-seven with one top 10 — not great, but at least he has experience.
On the 2017 season, Leishman ranks third on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting, a skill that makes him a threat to rise to the top of any leaderboard. With most of the world’s stars taking the week off, don’t be surprised if he picks up his second win in less than a month.
