Matt Kuchar — 42nd

Through three rounds of last week’s RBC Heritage, Kuchar was completely in the woods, but a Sunday 64 allowed him to rocket more than fifty places up the leaderboard to finish in a tie for 11th. His card included six birdies, an eagle and just one bogey, so he’ll carry plenty of momentum into this week. As for his course history, Kuchar has never missed a cut at TPC San Antonio, picking up four top 25s in his five career starts. He had an opportunity to win the event in 2014, but a Sunday 75 spoiled his chances; with that bit of unfinished business on his mind, he should be hungry for a victory.

It’s hard to believe it’s been more than three years since Kuchar’s last PGA Tour victory, but if he fulfills his projection for this week, that drought could come to an end soon. Expect him to thrive.
