No. 1 Andrew Putnam

First on the Web.com Tour money list and first in my ranking is Andrew Putnam.

A win at the Panama Claro Championship in February and three more finishes of 11th or better in five starts will do that. Fittingly enough given his name, his putter has led the charge so far and he was in the top 25 on the Web in putting in 2016.

Putnam is one of many on the Web.com with PGA TOUR experience as he joined older brother Michael (now playing on the Web.com) on the PGA TOUR in 2015.

The former 3-time All-American at Pepperdine has two career wins on the Web.com, but unfortunately the first he won, the WNB Golf Classic in Midland, Texas, is no longer on the schedule. In the quest for two more wins and a promotion, Putnam can still fall back on a few sites of past success.

Putnam placed T12 and T4 in two starts at the Albertson’s Boise Open coming in September and T4 in 2016 at the Digital Ally Open coming in July.

He already has enough money in 2017 to ensure a spot in the Web.com’s season-ending top-25 list to advance to the PGA TOUR, so the floodgates are open to carry on full steam ahead at picking up two more victories in 21 events left on the schedule.
