No. 2: Justin Rose/Henrik Stenson

OWGR – Rose: No. 8, Stenson: No. 6

With two major champions on its roster, this duo is the most accomplished in the field. Rose and Stenson have both enjoyed tremendous success as individuals, and together, they’ve provided a laundry list of memorable moments at the Ryder Cup, especially during their undefeated run in 2014.

All things considered, they look ready to continue that tradition of success at this week’s Zurich Classic of New Orleans. There will be some intrigue surrounding Stenson heading into the event — the Swede has missed his last three cuts — but his chemistry with Rose should be a big plus in a team event like this one. As for Rose, the Englishman has been playing some of the best golf of his career this season, most notably losing a playoff to Sergio Garcia at Augusta National a few weeks ago. He’s also seen a lot of past success at TPC Louisiana, winning this event in 2015 and picking up three other top 15 finishes in the past five years.

Stenson is definitely a question mark this week, but there’s obviously a lot to like about these guys. With Rose’s tremendous track record working in their favor, they should be able to recapture the Ryder Cup magic and post some low scores.
