Gregory Havret — 74th

At No. 395 in the Official World Golf Ranking, this Frenchman has been hanging on to his European Tour status by a thread, but don’t let that throw you off the scent. Havret has actually been surprisingly solid this year, so if you’re looking to load up on big names up front, he can provide flexibility at the bottom of your fantasy lineup.

With three top 20s in his last five starts, including a tie for 19th at the Trophee Hassan II two weeks ago, Havret’s most recent finishes are probably better than you were expecting them to be. He’s still spinning his tires in 74th place in the Race to Dubai, but for a bargain bin fantasy option, those are the kind of results we’re looking for. Furthermore, Havret was solid in his first crack at this week’s venue, notching a tie for 13th at last year’s Volvo China Open. That finish came during a stretch of six missed cuts in nine events, suggesting a legitimate affinity for the course.

At just $6,700 in DraftKings, Havret can slide into just about any lineup. Because of his age and general downturn in form over the past few years, he’s still a liability, but if you’re looking for a flier, he’s worth the risk.
