Martin Laird — $7,100

It’s been a rather inconsistent year for this Scot, but the good results have been impressive. He may be more than four years removed from his last PGA Tour victory, but with a little luck, this could be a great chance for Laird to finally bring an end to that drought.

Laird has picked up four top 20s in 2017, including a trio of solid top 10 finishes in the early part of the year. He’s slowed down a bit since then, but with a tie for 18th at the Valero Texas Open, he’ll bring a bit of momentum into this week. Statistically speaking, the Colorado State product doesn’t excel in any one area, but he does a lot of things pretty well — he ranks 27th on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained and 32nd in scoring average, testaments to his overall consistency. His putting hasn’t been the best lately, but the greens at this year’s Wells Fargo Championship are going to be tough for everyone at first.

At $7,100 in DraftKings, Laird certainly won’t break the bank in DFS play, and he’s been one of the better players on the circuit this year. You could make a case for others in his price range, but few are as savvy.
