Last start: MC, Zurich Classic of New Orleans (0 FedEx Cup points)

Justin Rose may be winless in 2017 thus far, but he’s still putting together a remarkably solid campaign. In just 9 Tour starts this year, he’s got six top-25 finishes, highlighted by his runner-up efforts at the Sony Open and the Masters. You need look no further than the fact that Rose is the only member of this top 10 to be here without a win, and he’s also done it in the second-fewest amount of starts.

Rose’s relatively limited start to the year isn’t out of the ordinary, of course. Like Steele, he’s skipping this week’s Wells Fargo Championship and preparing for The PLAYERS Championship. Rose’s summer schedule will likely include a stop at the Memorial, with another week off before the U.S. Open tees off at Erin Hills.

The formula is staying quite simple for Rose. Play the biggest events in the world, and play them very, very well. At this point in his career, the 36-year-old Englishman knows exactly what works. He doesn’t have to grind week in and week out to stay in rhythm. In fact, he hasn’t played more than 20 events since 2011. Given these types of performances, Rose could easily stay in the upper echelon of the FedEx Cup even if he somehow goes winless.
