Rickie Fowler has played so well this year, it’s a little bit surprising that he’s only won once. His game has traveled from China to Phoenix, Mexico to Augusta. In his nine starts this season, Fowler has made the cut in seven events, finishing inside the top 16 each time out.

An unfortunate missed cut alongside Jason Day last week at the Zurich Classic should prove to be little more than a speed bump in an otherwise stellar 2017 season. Next week, Fowler will return to the site of his biggest career victory thus far, TPC Sawgrass and The PLAYERS Championship. Outside of perhaps one or two other people on this list, the world’s No. 9 ranked player is sure to be a heavy favorite there.

Fowler’s nine starts are tied with Justin Rose for the second-fewest on this list. Unlike Rose, however, Fowler is likely to pack his summer schedule starting with the PLAYERS. In 2016, he struggled there, with just two top-25 finishes before the Playoffs. But if Fowler puts it together like he did in 2014, with four straight top-10s, he could easily jump up this list in a hurry.
