Adam Scott — 77th

Scott has scored a nice payday in more than half of his starts this year, notching four top 20 finishes in just seven events. That run includes a tie for ninth at the Masters, where he was one of only two past champions to find the top 10. With that momentum working in his favor, he should be able to post some low scores this week — he’s never been able to match his tournament-winning performance from 2004, but with five consecutive cuts made, including a tie for 12th in last year’s event, he can still do damage at TPC Sawgrass.

On top of all that, Scott happens to be a statistical stud, ranking 19th on the PGA Tour in driving distance and 17th in scoring average. Without a victory for more than a year now, he’s due for another one, and he has the kind of winning game that can hold up on this course.
