1st Bold Prediction: No Weather Delays at THE PLAYERS

The wild spring weather that’s created havoc for the pros over the past month isn’t following them to Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida this week. Quite the opposite. There’s no inclement weather in sight. It’s Florida and the sun is going to shine.

With daytime temperatures in the mid-to-high 80s, light winds, and humidity hovering around 50%, expect near-perfect golf weather.

After suffering through driving rain and howling win for most of March and April, this is very good news for fans and players alike. Jordan Spieth won’t be forced to risk a slow play penalty while he waits for the wind to calm down before he takes his shot. The on-course commentators can work on their tans while they do their jobs. We can all rest secure in scheduling out tv viewing time – we won’t get stuck watching reruns of the 2016 PLAYERS best shots during weather suspensions.

All-in-all, this weather forecast is happy news for everybody.
