At number five on the list we have a player who has already won once this year, at the Shenzhen International in April, Bernd Weisberger. The Austrian is tied for the highest amount of Race to Dubai point events played this season with a total of nine starts. This is due to his play in several European Tour events, not just the WGC tournaments.

Along with his win earlier this year, Weisberger also retains three other top 10’s, and one top 25 in RTD point events. These high finishes have definitely done the job of propelling him into the top five on this year’s list. Weisberger is not playing in this week’s Open de Portugal, so there is a chance a few players could make a run at his spot.

For the time being, however, it seems that Weisberger’s strong play in his last two events has enabled him to accumulate enough points that he will sit comfortably in the top 10.
