Si Woo Kim — 21st

Kim was completely dialed in at TPC Sawgrass, ranking second in the field in strokes gained: off-the-tee, third in strokes gained: around-the-green and 18th in strokes gained: approach-the-green. Surprisingly, the dominant performance was only his second top 25 of the year, along with his tie for 22nd at last month’s Valero Texas Open — injuries and middling play kept him dormant for the first few months of the season. This week will mark his first career appearance at the AT&T Byron Nelson, and he’s in the right form to have immediate success.

At just 21 years old, Kim is still figuring out how to consistently contend on the PGA TOUR. With his recent ailments behind him, look for him to make up for lost time by sustaining his success. Who knows — it might not be long before this young gun is hoisting another trophy.
