Keegan Bradley
Official World Ranking: 110
FedEx Cup: 44
Best Nelson Finish: Win, 2011
Keegan Bradley is one of those guys who absolutely has the talent to compete on Tour week in and week out, but reality often isn’t as friendly. Bradley is enjoying a solid, if unspectacular, campaign so far in 2017. With three top-tens and seven top-25s, Bradley has already out-earned his 2016 season, but there’s still a certain consistency missing from his game.
If there’s going to be a week where Bradley makes his push back into the game’s upper echelon, it could be here at the AT&T Byron Nelson. Back in 2011, Bradley earned his first victory in the middle of his rookie season on Tour here, and he backed it up in 2013 with a runner-up effort.
Bradley is now five-for-six at TPC Four Seasons, with last year’s missed cut as the sole blemish on an otherwise sparkling record, never worse than T29 in five made cuts. While he has struggled mightily to adjust to the anchor ban over the last year and change, there are signs that he’s at least finding some kind of balance.
Can Bradley pull it all together again this week? Don’t bet against it.
